I worry sometimes. I even worry over small

I even worry over small things, periodically.

July 14, 2023

I worry sometimes. I even worry over small things, periodically. I am not saying I worry all the time or that I worry day in and day out. I find that I worry more when I am tired or hungry, or if there is an issue with a family member. If I am honest, I worry less now that I am older, than when I was younger. The one thing I have found is all of us worry. Such as when we were young, we worried about taking a test, passing our drivers test, or if our friends were mad at us. As we get older, we worry more about our health, or our loved ones health, our finances, our job, and even our relationships. So why am I talking about worrying, because we all do it. It also has been proven, that worrying does not change the situation, at all. Thus, our only solution is to give our worries, our problems to God and let God take care of our dilemmas. Matthew 6:34 reads, “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.” Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Then, Luke 21:14 states, “But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you answer.” Today, whatever you are going through, give it to God and let the peace of God which passes all understanding be with you and guide you. Cast your worries upon God. Bless. Amen.
