If you could do anything today, what would it be?

If you could do anything today, what would it be? Would you meet a famous person? Drive a race car? Travel to the moon. Go skydiving? Climb the highest mountain? Would you win the lottery? Get a book you wrote published? Graduate from school? What would you do? Any of these things are possible, but you have to strive to obtain them. Sometimes we want things, and we make a big-to-do about them, yet we go about getting them in the wrong way. Maybe we need to reassess our priorities. For life is not about what we can do or obtain or want. Life is about appreciating and enjoying what we have. For if push came to shove wouldn’t you say our relationships are the most important thing we have? Maybe we need to focus more on putting God first, then family and friends, then self. Philippians 4:11-13 reads, “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether will fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
