In the fall, I can get vertical.

October 25, 2023

In the fall, I can get vertical. A few years ago, I had one of my worse cases, I have ever had. I was on the closet floor unable to move for over 4 hours. I was so sick—I lost everything I had inside me. The room would spin, if I flinched a muscle. I laid as still as I could. Thank God, my husband was home. I do not know what I would have done if he hadn’t been there. He brought me a trashcan, medicine, and a wet cloth for my head and sat next to me until I could move and get up to go to the doctor. He was there by my side, even though there was not much he could do, his presence was everything to me. It reassured me and gave me strength. This is how God work. He is there for us when we need Him. He reassures us and gives us strength to carry on. Philippians 4:13 reads, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Psalm 119:28 says, “My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.” Then Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Whatever you are going through God is there. He will give you the strength and courage you need—turn to Him—He will help you. God Bless. Amen.
