In your prayer life, who are the people

In your prayer life, who are the people you pray for, what do you pray for?

April 7, 2024

In your prayer life, who are the people you pray for, what do you pray for? Do you pray for family members, friends, material things, health, financial gain, your pets, for safety? When you pray do your prayers consist of? Do you say the Lord’s Prayer, Psalms 100 or the 23rd Psalm. Do you talk to God, give thanks, Praise Him, cry out your pain and frustration when you pray? What does your prayer life consist of? Scripture reveals the importance of praying for one another. Colossians 1:9 reads, “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Romans 15:30 says, “I appeal to you, brothers, by our LORD Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf.” Prayer is a key ingredient of our faith in our LORD. Let us not forget to pray not only for ourselves but for others as well. The other day, on Facebook, I saw this statement, “Whoever is praying for me keep it up it is working!” Let us pray! God Bless. Amen.
