Is there someone you have been avoiding?

December 24, 2024

Is there someone you have been avoiding? Is there someone you need to forgive? Is there someone you hold resentment toward? Is there someone you are angry with? When you do not deal with your feelings, they can and will get internalized, which can cause health issues. But for some of us it is hard to stop avoiding, forgive, quit holding onto resentment, or let go of our anger. The Bible tells us to lead a life of forgiveness, grace, and mercy. We are to forgive and let go and let God. We read this time and time again forgive and we will be forgiven. Ephesians 4:32 reads, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Luke 6:37 says, “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned, forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Mark 11:25 tells us, “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. (sins)” Today, try getting right with God and if you need to forgive, or to let go of your resentment, or your anger toward someone, do so. Go to God in prayer, asking for forgiveness, asking for compassion and favor. Then let the power of the LORD God Almighty work in and through you. And the one you need to get right with, because don’t we all need to be forgiven, loved and accepted? God Bless. Amen.
