Jesus Our Shepherd.

Jesus watches over us.

July 6, 2026

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV)

We only have one life to live.  Things happen; there are no guarantees.  Because life happens.  We never know when the thief will come, but it does come.  Whether it is an actual thief, or a thief that steals your joy, your health, your relationships, your mental wellbeing, a loved one, your peace or anything else that might happen in life.

When we believe in Jesus, He becomes our Shepherd who protects us, comforts us, guides us, sustains us, gives us courage and hope.  The message in this verse shows us that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, who provides security just as a shepherd provides that for his sheep.

Jesus, as our Shepherd brings joy, he is a source of comfort, he satisfies our deepest longing and gives us strength to endure whatever life steals from us.  In life, people face emotional, financial, or even personal dangers.  We must remember that when Jesus is our Shepherd nothing nor no one can steal us away.  For he watches over us.  Always and forever.  God Bless. Amen.
