Joy means a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Are you joyful and happy today? Or is life getting in your way? Has someone stolen your joy? Has something stolen your joy? Have you lost joy in your life? I think the way we keep joy in our life is to choose it. The way this is done is through our attitude. Charles Swindle says, “Life is 10%, attitude is 90%.” Thus, we have to choose whether we are happy, sad, mad, or glad. We have to choose not to let life dictate to our joy. We have to be intention about making the best out of any situation that comes our way. At times, this can be very hard to do, not to lose our joy. When life is trying to steal your joy, remember that God will help you, guide you, and comfort you in all situations and circumstances. For the joy of the LORD is our strength. (Nehemiah 8:10) Psalm 28:7 tells us, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” Today choose to have a great day. Let us have the best day of our life! Don’t let life steal your joy! God Bless. Amen.
