Love is a risk. When you love, you

When you love, you can get hurt.

March 21, 2025

Love is a risk. When you love, you can get hurt. But on the flip side of it, love is so much more. Love is fulfilling and even though you can and will get hurt, healthy people are willing to risk it for love. Love makes your heartbeat faster. You want to spend time with your love. You even are willing to do silly things together. Love fulfills your life. There are different types of love—love of a parent, a sibling, a friend, a child, a grandchild, a pet, a spouse and the greatest is our love of God. When you love, you would and will do anything for that person. A perfect example of love and the willingness to do what needs to be done for the other person. And this is what God did for us through His Son—Jesus the Christ. God loved us so much He was willing to sacrifice His only begotten Son so that you and I might be forgiven and have everlasting life. John 15:13 says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” When you think about it, love is everything, we just forget that sometimes. Today, let us strive to be more like God—loving—forgiving—never giving up on another person. It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
