Oh How I Love You Lord!

The Lord is my all in all--I will praise Him! I will exalt Him!

June 9, 2026

“And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.” (Isaiah12:4 NIV)

In this verse the first thing we are reminded to do is “Give thanks to the LORD.”  By recognizing and appreciating God and all that He has done in your life. Thank you for this day.  Thank you for my life.  Thank you for the food I eat, the clothes I wear.  Thank you for my heath and the desire to take care of myself. Thank you for my spouse, my children, stepchildren, my daughters-in-laws and son-in-law, my grand-children, great-grand-children, siblings, in-laws, friends, and pets.

Then the verse tells us to “Call upon His name” This is done by turning to God in prayer, meditation, worship, when you wake up, throughout the day and before you go to be, in good times as well as bad.  By doing this you acknowledge God all the time and in all areas of your life.

“Make known his deeds among the people” we are to share our story of God with others of what God has done for you.  You do this because you love the Lord—the God of all things. You want everyone to know what a wonderful and mighty God you serve.

This verse ends by telling us to “proclaim that his name is exalted” is declaring the greatness, holiness, and wonderment of God to all.  We exalt God because it is a response of gratitude, awe, and recognition of who He is and what He is—creator, sustainer, redeemer, He is faithful and true, mighty and wonderful is our God.

If we do these things what a wonderful way to spend your day—with God. God Bless.  Amen.
