Our God is a God of mercy, compassion,

Our God is a God of mercy, compassion, and forgiveness.

February 7, 2024

Our God is a God of mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. He forgives all of our sins and He knows our deepest pain and heartache. He will forgive you. The problem is will we be able to forgive our self. See, Jesus came into the world so that we all will be forgiven and have everlasting life! Thus, when you accept Jesus as your LORD and Savior and confess your sins; you are forgiven. PERIOD! My question is, “Why is it so hard for us to forgive our “self”? Why do we hold onto the wrongs we have committed as if they are precious jewels? I believe it is because we feel unworthy. We question God, as to how, we can be forgiven. I am here to tell you—YOU are worthy. God loves you just as you are. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jeremiah 31:3 reads, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you to myself.” Then Micah 7:18 tells us, “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You O LORD do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.” God loves you. You are worthy. You are precious in God’s eyes. If this is true, it is time to forgive yourself. God Bless. Amen.
