Our God is the God of all things.

Our God is the God of all things.

Our God is the God of all things. When trauma occurs, when grief emerges, our emotions can run wild. Kubler-Ross identified our emotions in five stages of grief – denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. These emotions can happen in that order or in any other order; there is no exact way to grieve. They are emotions that rage through our body, as we try to deal with the situation we are in. During these periods of grief, our emotions take over and the pain we are experiencing can be taken out on others, because we are hurting. Grief is real. Grief is personal and not very neat. Grief affects us and those around us. The pain can be intense and difficult to deal with. It is learning to deal with the heartache, the pain, and the unfairness of the situation, which is the challenge. Some of us might be grieving right now, because we feel whatever is happening in our life, is unfair and too painful for us to deal with. Are you grieving, or do you know someone who is? The hard thing to realize is that God is with us, for He gave us these emotions, and they are neither good nor bad they are just there. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reads, “the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” So if you are grieving give yourself permission to grieve, for life is unfair, then remember God is with you. He will give you the strength and courage you need to face this situation. For, He is the God of all things. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 73:26 reads, “My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” God is with you in your pain, your heartache, and yes, your fear. Cling to Him; hold fast, He will walk with you on this journey of grief. God Bless. Amen.
