Part of learning, growing, becoming who and what

Part of learning, growing, becoming who and what you are is about who and what you surround yourself with.

Part of learning, growing, becoming who and what you are is about who and what you surround yourself with. If you spend time with gossipers, self-centered individuals, or people who only want to play and have fun, you may never fulfill the full richness of who you are meant to be. My father always said, “Who you hang around with is how other people see you.” Now if you associate with people who want more out of life. People who think of others before themselves. People who are interested in learning, that inspire and intrigue you, you will become more excited and more apt to reach your full potential. Sometimes we forget this, and the journey to becoming who God has called us to be is never manifested! Philippians 1:6 says, “God wants you to become the best version of yourself.” Proverbs 27:17 reads, “To become a better person, replace bad influences with good ones.” Matthew 7:26 tells us, “People will know you belong to the Lord based on your actions.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 states, “Choose your surroundings and friends wisely.” Today, is a great day to start reassessing your life—how you can become the best YOU possible. God Bless. Amen.
