Prayer is how we communicate to God.

March 10, 2024

Prayer is how we communicate to God. It is us—you and me talking to God. There are many different ways to pray. You can pray with your eyes opened or closed. You can pray standing up, sitting down, or even lying down. You can pray outdoors, in doors, in your car or on a bike. Prayer can be silent, as you listen to that still small voice, or shouting from the mountain tops. You can pray quiet or cry out your prayers. When you pray, you pray whether you are happy, mad, sad, or glad. Prayer can be done anytime or any place. You can pray for one person, many people, or just yourself. My prayer for you on this day is that you realize what a wonderful person you are, that you understand that you were created in God’s image, that you are loved and accept just as you are, always and forever. You are a beloved child of God, remember that. As you go forth remember whom you belong to and whom you serve, treat others as you want to be treated and forgive as God has forgiven you. Do random acts of kindness wherever you go, smile, laugh and enjoy this day for once this day is gone you can never get a re-do. So enjoy it for this is the day that the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. God Bless. Amen.
