Remember the first time you were in love.

Remember the first time you were in love.

February 21, 2024

Remember the first time you were in love. I mean really in love with another person. Can you remember the pitter-patter of your heart beating at the thought of this person? The excitement of seeing that special person, the wishing you would see the person as soon as possible? Then the hours spent talking, sharing, laughing and crying together and the wishing the moment would never end. Love! It is wonderful. It is amazing. This is the type of relationship, God wants us to have with Him, where we get exciting about spending time alone with our LORD. Where you can talk with our Lord anytime or anyplace, you never have to wait. Where you spend time with Him and have those wonderful quiet moments alone together. It is a deep love relationship. It is a relationship where you know He will always be there for you and will never leave you. But some of us do not have this type of love relationship with God. No matter how old you are, it is never too late to start spending more time with God. Psalm 46:10 reads, “Be still, and know that I am God…” James 4:8 tells us, “Come near to God and he will come near to you.” And remember, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1) So think about this, maybe it is time for you to start searching for our Lord and developing your relationship with God, is something you might want to do? It is something to consider. God Bless. Amen.
