Scripture comforts us when nothing else will.

Scripture comforts us when nothing else will. It also imparts wisdom and knowledge. It is good reading and helps you to understand people, but most importantly God. As you read the words from the Bible, God becomes alive, filled with wonder, power, and mystery. You learn forgiveness, love, and also hope. Soon you begin to memorize scripture and know where your favorite scriptures are. Here are some of mine. “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit with in me.” (Psalms 51:10) “Praise the LORD! O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever! (Psalms 106:1) “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalms 46:10) “As a deer longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God.” (Psalms 42:1) “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security.” (Psalm 37:3) “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:2) Today, let us praise the LORD and give thanks for our God is an awesome God. He is King of kings Lord of lords. And if you have time, open your Bible and read how magnificent our God is and all the wonderful things He has done! And continues to do even today! God Bless. Amen.
