We are Just Grateful for You!

O Lord, we give thanks to You.

August 25, 2026

“For the Lord is good.  His steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” (Psalms 200:5 NLT)

“You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you.” (Psalm 118:28 NIV)

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.” (Psalm 9:1NIV)

The word grateful means feeling or showing appreciation for a kindness, gift, or benefit.  We are grateful to God because He is our God.  He is our all in all.  A very presence in times of trouble.  Our hope, our counselor, our sustainer, and the One who gives us peace during the storms of our lives.  Today let us give thanks and show our appreciation to God.

Let us pray: “O Lord, we are just grateful for You. You give us chance after chance. You love us unconditionally.  You forgive us as no one else can or will.  We are just grateful for You.  When we are down You lift us up.  When we do not know what to do You sustain us.  When we are lost You comfort us.  When we are anxious You give us peace.  When we are weary You give us strength.  When we are lonely You are our companion.  When we have sinned, You forgive us.  When we feel unlovable You love us.  O Lord, we are just grateful for You.  You give us chance after chance.  You love us always and forever.  We are grateful.  O Lord, we are just grateful for You.  These things we pray.”  Amen. God Bless.
