Sometimes, life becomes overwhelming that all you want to do is cry out, “Stop, just stop. I need a rest.” Yet life does not stop and you don’t get to quit. You have to persevere. Or I guess you can go on a pity party and feel sorry for yourself, making yourself and everyone around you miserable. Life is full of tribulations, heartache and pain. How you choose to deal with it is the key. As Charles Swindoll says, “Life is 10%, attitude is 90%.” Today, whatever is weighing you down go to God, call out to Him, rest in Him, be still before Him. And know that He will give you the peace that passes all understanding. He will fill you with His presence, so that, you can keep putting one foot in front of the other. Our God is an awesome God who is alive and well. He is there for you. He is always there for you. So turn to Him. Psalms 71:3 reminds us, “Be thou to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress, to save me, for thou art my rock and my fortress.” Remember you are encircled in God’s strength. God Bless. Amen.
