Sometimes we let a horrible situation from our past dictate how we function in the present moment we are in and the future as well. From that horrible situation, it is as if we believe we are unworthy. Bad things happen and so do good things. Evil and sin are a part of our daily lives. Cruel and horrible things happen to good people. The key is not to let that horrible situation define you. We need to learn that what we make of a situation defines us. Not the situation. Romans 8:38-39 reads, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our LORD.” God is with you in the good times as well as the bad. He is holding you, giving you strength and courage and most of all loving you. Remember, we choose how we define who and what we are, and I am going to choose to see myself through God’s eyes. Worthy and a good person who is loved by God and accepted by God always. God Bless. Amen.
