Sometimes, you just do not know what to

Sometimes, you just do not know what to pray so you say, “Help me LORD, Help me LORD…” over and over again.

April 1, 2024

Sometimes, you just do not know what to pray so you say, “Help me LORD, Help me LORD…” over and over again. Sometimes, words just do not come while calling out to God, so you say “Oh God! Oh God!” Other times, you are so frustrated or angry all you can say is, “The Lord’s Prayer” again and again just to help you through the situation you are in. Sometimes, when you know not what to do, you sit in the silence, all alone, being still, hoping God will answer your unspoken cry of pain. When we hurt, when we feel alone, when troubles come our way, we turn to God hoping for the strength we need to get through the situation we are in. Psalm 46:1-3 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of trouble…” Then Isaiah 41:10 reads, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Remember God is with you. He is always with—even when you do not feel it. God is there. God Bless. Amen.
