The Bible tells us how to act, speak,

The Bible tells us how to act, speak, and to react to different situations.

The Bible tells us how to act, speak, and to react to different situations. It also has guidelines to follow. For example, the two Great Commandments are to love our God with all our heart, mind, soul, and spirit and to love our neighbor as our self. (Matthew 22:35-40) The Golden Rule, “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,” (Matthew 7:12) We are also told not to gossip. “Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.” (James1:26) The 10 great Commandment say, “I am the LORD thy God, thou shall not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain, remember to keep holy the Sabbath day, honor thy father and mother, thou shalt not kill, thou shall not commit adultery, thou shall not steal, thou shall not bear false witness, thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife, thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s goods.” (Exodus 20) The Bible is full of many different guidelines. My question is, “Why do we pick and choose what we want to do? When we already know what is right and true!” It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
