The Power of Prayer

There is power in prayer.

May 20, 2026

Prayer is an important aspect of our lives.  It is our lifeline to God.  It is how we communicate with God.  Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

My prayer for you today is do not be anxious, turn to God.  He will give you peace.  That peace, which surpasses all understanding.  Do not be afraid, turn to God.  He will calm your fearful spirit and give you peace.  Do not be angry, turn to God.  He will transform your anger into forgiveness and give you peace.  Do not hate, turn to God.  He will transcend your hate replacing it with unconditional love and will give you peace. Do not judge, turn to God.  He will exchange it with understanding and wisdom and will give you peace.  For God is the God of all things.  He is our all in all.  God will give you peace.  So, trust in God, He will see you through. These things we pray.  Amen.  God Bless.
