To give praise is to express warm approval or admiration for someone or something. In the Bible, praise is a conscious act of expressing admiration, gratitude, and reverence for God, acknowledging His sovereignty, goodness, and mercy. It is a way of proclaiming God’s worth and love for Him. Often through vocal expressions like singing and declarations of His greatness. Praising God can also be done in the stillness of the moment through prayer. “I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.” (Psalm 145:1-3) “I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:3) “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name.” (Psalm 103:1) Today, let us praise the LORD; for His steadfast love endures forever. Great is our LORD and worthy is His name! God Bless. Amen.
