We all experience frustrations in life. We all

We all experience frustrations in life.

March 31, 2024

We all experience frustrations in life. We all experience great sorrow. We have even had road blocks in our way, which cause heartache and pain. We all have had to do things; at times we do not want to do. Even our Lord Jesus the Christ experienced this in His life. In Matthew 26:37-39 it reads, “He (referring to Jesus) took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as you will.” Jesus knew what was about to happen to him. He knew what lay before him. From these words we know that he would rather not experience the beatings, the crown of thorns, the spitting upon him, the ridicule and even the cross. So he prayed this prayer and did as his Father wanted of him. Even though he would go through such pain and suffering, he did that for you and for me. There is no greater gift than a man to lay down his life for another. See Jesus knew that his Father would be with him. Jesus trusted his Father even in the pain and suffering of his death. So Jesus did what was required of him by his Father. He trusted his Father, in all of life, even his death. The one thing I know is that God is the one sure thing in this life of ours. He is with us in all situations and circumstances, just as He was with Jesus. Today, no matter what is going on in your life, turn to God and pray the prayer Jesus prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as you will.” And if you have to go through pain and sorrow, remember God is with you. You got this because the LORD God Almighty will see you through all of life, even death on a cross. Praise be to God. Christ has risen. God Bless. Amen.
