We all have dark hours in our life.

We all have dark hours in our life.

November 8, 2023

We all have dark hours in our life. These times, can occur any moment, at any time of the day. They are the times when you just can’t see the light, and hope is very minimal. I wrote a poem in the early 1990’s when I was at one of my darkest hours. It reads, “I cry out for help, where are you God? I pull my hair and shake my fists and ask, why? I get down on my hands and knees asking for strength, courage, and guidance. Then I sit in the silence of the early dawn, all alone. All by myself. Praying for help and understanding. Praying and praying. Can you hear me, LORD? Can You hear me? Are You there? Do You care? Where are You, LORD? I need You now, Oh, how I need You.” Today, no matter what you are going through remember God is with you, always. Psalm 42:11 reads, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Our God is a mighty God, even in the darkest hour He is there. God is with us every step of our life, every moment of the day. God Bless. Amen.
