We all sin. We all make mistakes. We

We all make mistakes.

February 27, 2025

We all sin. We all make mistakes. We all fall short of God’s glory. Sin is anything that separates us from God. So why is it so easy for us to see the sins of others and point it out to them; all the while we hide from our own sins. We even justify our sin or sins because we want to continue doing what we are doing. We make excuses saying, “It will be OK, no one will know.” and we do the same sin over and over again, justifying it all the way. We have an affair justifying it to ourselves it is OK I am happy. We cuss justifying it to ourselves it isn’t that bad. We steal justifying to ourselves I needed it more. We lie justifying to ourselves that the truth would only hurt them. We take the money that just fell out of a person’s pocket justifying to ourselves I needed it more. As we look around to make sure no one saw. In John 8:7 it says, “When they kept on questioning him (referring to Jesus), he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone.” Today, let us try not to judge others. Let us worry about what we do and let us make sure we are doing what God has called us to do and to be. It is something to ponder, don’t you think? God Bless. Amen.
