We are emotional creatures.

March 18, 2025

We are emotional creatures. Our feelings consist of being happy, mad, sad, or glad to name just a few, that are accented by frustration, anger, and undeniable joy. God gave us these feelings and they are neither good nor bad. They just are. One thing I know is we all must learn to control our negative feelings. We have to learn to respond and not react when our feelings are raging within us. To learn to respond to negative feelings effectively start by acknowledging and identifying the feeling, then take a time out, write down the words that want to spew from you. Exercise, journal, consider seeking professional help to learn to express your feelings in a healthy manner. Ephesians 4:31 reads, “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.” This verse calls for a complete removal of negative emotions that can harm us and our relationships. Today, whatever you are going through remember God can help you to calm your spirit. For in reality, we really do not want to take our feeling out on others do we? God Bless. Amen.
