What do you do to take care of yourself when you are going through a rough period in your life?

What do you do to take care of yourself when you are going through a rough period in your life? Do you pray? Read the Bible? Do you sing? Do you dance? Do you paint? Do you color? Do you journal? Do you read? Do you exercise? Do you see a counselor? How do you handle those rough periods of your life? What do you do for yourself to make life easier, so you can deal with the situation at hand? Isaiah 41:10 tells us, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” What I have found to be true is that if you go to God in prayer first. He will help you step by step, moment by moment, giving you peace, to your raging spirit. Coinciding with that I listen to Christian music, read the Bible and pray some more, remember this too will pass. I also exercise and try to stay busy. See a counselor. But most importantly I go to God first for I know He will help me through this time of difficulty. Remember God will help you! Always! Go to Him. He is waiting. God Bless. Amen.
