What is one of life’s lessons you have

What is one of life’s lessons you have learned, for you to be a trust worthy person, because if you are dishonest, people will no longer trust you.

What is one of life’s lessons you have learned, for you to be a trust worthy person, because if you are dishonest, people will no longer trust you. They will stop telling you things, asking for your help, because they cannot trust you to do what you said you would do. Is the lesson you learned, it is wrong to lie, because others will not believe what you say? They think of you as a liar. They cannot trust what you say. Is the lesson you learned, is to have integrity in all that you do? Integrity is defined as having strong morals or values and following those principles in both your words and actions. Or did you learn the hard way not to talk bad about others or gossip? Because, yet again, people will not trust you nor tell you things. Could the lesson you learned, is not to steal? Or to not covet your neighbors stuff? What lessons have you learned? Or you don’t care and you just do what you want, even at the expense of others? To make life even more interesting, sometimes we just do not choose to learn some of life’s lessons. We keep doing them over and over again, because we do not seem to learn nor want to learn the lesson in the first time. Life is life. As a Christian, we are called to act and be different than the secular world, and this is at times, hard to do! We are called to a higher standard in life. Thus, we are to do what is right, not what is easy, but what is right and true. Today, focus on God; remember what He has called you to do and to be! Maybe the learning of life’s lessons will become a thing of the past because you are doing the right thing? James 4:17 says, “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is a sin.” It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
