What is one thing you want to do

What is one thing you want to do in life?

September 21, 2024

What is one thing you want to do in life? This thing is something that really means a lot to you—but for some reason you just have not done it yet. The one thing I wanted was to have an adult birthday party. When I was young my parents would have birthday parties, but as an adult I didn’t. I said to my husband, “I have never had a birthday party I am turning 70 this year. Could we have one?” “Of course.” He said. He went all out, and I am having my birthday party tonight. This past week he has blessed and spoiled me. It has meant so much to me. I am so blessed. Being blessed, you feel lucky to have something. It is a special favor, mercy, or benefit. God too blesses us. When God blesses us, it is a favor or gift bestowed by God, it brings happiness and joy. Blessings occur in many different ways and forms. By God loving us we are blessed. Ephesians 1:3 reads, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” Sometimes we forget how blessed we really are. Today, count your blessings. Give thanks and appreciate those around you. God Bless. Amen.
