What is something you do not want to

What is something you do not want to happen to you?

May 17, 2025

What is something you do not want to happen to you? What is something that you want to avoid? What is something that you dread? Dread is the fear that something bad will happen, dread can also be the desire to avoid something at all costs. For dread is the anticipation of a negative event or a feeling of unease about the future. When you are dreading something, fear sets in, making you feel apprehensive and distressed long before the actual event. Where a person feels and experiences persistent feelings of impending doom. For example, dreading the loss of a loved one. Dread of losing your job, financial problems, or impending divorce. Sometimes we forget God, when we are in this mode. God seems to take a back seat, for we are consumed with impending doom. I believe, when we ask God to take away the thing/s we dread in life—that the peace which passes all understanding transpires. Isaiah 26:3 reads, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” God is there—turn to Him. He will help. He will calm your spirit of dread! God Bless. Amen.
