What would you do for love?

August 14, 2025

What would you do for love? Anything, with no strings attached? Or do you have limitations with your love? When you give out your love are there strings attached and conditions? If you do have strings attached to your love, if someone does not live up to your expectations what do you do? Withhold your love, get mad and not speak to the person, disown the person? Or do you accept the person—knowing we all make mistakes and forgive that person. Do you kill them with kindness, because you really do not have strings attached to your love. You just accept the person for who and what they are. Can you imagine God having strings attached to His love for us? If we failed to live up to God’s expectations—that He would disown us and not have anything to do with us! No. God does not have conditions to His love. He loves us despite our failures, our sins, our unforgiving hearts. God loves us and does not give up on us. 2 Timothy 2:13 reads, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” Hebrew 13:5 tells us, “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you.’” God loves us unconditionally, always, and forever. Maybe we need to start acting more like God. It is something to think about. It is something we need to do. Don’t you think? God Bless. Amen.
