When making a decision, what process do you

When making a decision, what process do you use?

February 28, 2025

When making a decision, what process do you use? Talk it over with your spouse, a friend, or with your child? Do you go to a counselor or a minister to discuss major decisions in your life? Do you write the pros and cons of the situation down so you can get a better understanding of what you are dealing with? Or do you go to God in prayer asking for the wisdom you need to understand the situation you are in so that you are better apt in making your decision. Or do you combine the different ways to best make your decision. The Bible tells us to first go to God when making a decision. In Proverbs 2:6 it says, “For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the LORD with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” God can help you if you are willing to go to Him in prayer. So, pray about the situation, talk it over with a person you trust, write the pros and cons down, then go back to God in prayer. Then wait, be still, the solution will come to you. It is something to think about. It is something to try. God Bless. Amen.
