When you do something wrong, when you make

When you do something wrong, when you make a mistake, are other people harder on you or are you harder on yourself?

November 12, 2023

When you do something wrong, when you make a mistake, are other people harder on you or are you harder on yourself? Do you beat yourself up for the mistake you made, calling yourself names such as: how stupid was I, what an idiot I am, I can’t believe how dumb I am, or why am I always being such an irresponsible, reckless person, I am so foolish! Why do we beat our “self” up for mistakes that we make? I have found most people are harder on themselves than what others inflict upon you, while judging you. We live within our mind. What we think is manifested in our actions. For the quality of our life is reflected in the quality, the excellence, the value of our thoughts. Today, only have positive thoughts for yourself, be intentional about how you speak to yourself. Remember you are a beloved child of God, created in His imaged, loved and accepted by Him and most important forgiven. So love yourself the way God loves you, be kind to yourself and forgive yourself. For you are special there is no one on this earth like you. Remember that. For God’s love is unconditional, unending, and unmistakable. We are love for who and what we are. We are forgiven. Psalms 36:7 reads, “How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” God Bless. Amen.
