Where Does Your Peace Come From?

Christ gives us peace.

June 16, 2026

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.  And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15 NIV)

“Let Christ’s peace rule” helps us to remember Christ gives us peace—that peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7) For in the midst of our storms in life, our tribulations, our fears of the unknown He gives us a calmness, a peace, that defies human logic which helps us to be steady regardless of painful or chaotic circumstances.

To find peace in Christ can be very hard to do.  Because when life gets in the way our peace becomes shattered.  The way we find peace in our life is to walk with God daily.  When you are close to Christ instead of letting hurt feelings or panic rule your heart, you consciously choose to let His peace sustain you.

“To let rule” is a conscience act to allow Christ to umpire, to referee, to guide your internal decisions and guard your relationships, communication, and interaction between others.  Thus, you learn to walk in peace not chaos.  So, the question is how is your walk with Christ going?  God Bless.  Amen.
