While growing up if I wanted to do something or try something new my father would say, “You can do anything you want if you set your mind to it.” With those words, I became a very confident person. I learned to believe in myself. I learned to trust myself, knowing that if I tried and worked hard I could accomplish just about anything. I believe this is what God says to us too. “You can do anything you want if you set your mind to it.” God believes in us, hopes for the best, in all that we do. God walks with us, talks with us and shows us just how much He loves us. God gave us life and the rest is up to us. We can choose to be good, honest, hardworking people, with integrity or we can feel sorry for ourselves saying, “I can’t do that!” or “I don’t want to do that—it is too hard.” Today, whatever obstacle you are facing, trust God, believe in yourself, then try and try again. You can do it. God is with you. Psalm 16:8 reads, “God is always with me. I will not be shaken.” God Bless. Amen.
