Why would we need to praise God?

June 23, 2023

Why would we need to praise God? To praise means to express warm approval or admiration of someone or something. We praise God, for what He has done, for giving us this wonderful world, for our life and our loved ones, the food we eat and the clothes we wear, but most of all for His son, Jesus the Christ, who gave his life for you and for me. By praising God, we are reminded of the greatness of God! His power and presence in our lives is reinforced in our understanding. For praising God, reveals our faith and show our relationship with Him. Thomas Ken wrote the Doxology in 1674 it goes, “Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost”…Praise God for whom all things are made. Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise His Holy Name. Today, and throughout the day let us Praise our God—the creator and sustainer of all of life. Praise Him. God Bless. Amen.
