Worthy is His Name!

On how wonderful are You Lord, You are worthy to be praised.

July 26, 2026

“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power.  For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” (Revelation 4:11 NLT)

“Worthy” means having absolute value, merit, or excellence in the matter at hand.  From this scripture “You are worthy” means God rightfully deserves absolute praise, honor, and obedience because of who He is and what He has done.  It is the ultimate acknowledgement of His value, status, and rights over creation.

The Bible tells us that God created all things and because of that, He is worthy. Praise and honor thus emerge from our lips.  God is Worthy.  Worthy is His Name.

Today, let us give glory and honor and praise to the Lord.  For God is worthy to be praised.  Let us praise the Lord during the good times, the bad times, and the not so good times.  Let us give things during the good, the bad, and the ugly times.  Let us glorify our God when we are down, when we are up, and when life is just OK.  O Lord, You are worthy.  You are wonderful.  You are our God and worthy to be praise.  Thank you. Thank you Lord.  Thank you for that you have done for us.  You are worthy.  You are worthy and we praise your Holy Name.  God Bless.  Amen.
