Happiness comes from within. They say misery loves

Happiness comes from within.

Happiness comes from within. They say misery loves company. People, who are unhappy, like to share their troubles with others. It is as if, people who are unhappy, get some consolation from knowing that others are unhappy too. Misery is a form of negativism. They that say negativity produces more negativity; characterized by habitual skepticism and a disagreeable tendency to deny or oppose or resist suggestions. Their energy outside, affects the energy inside of them. Anger, resentment, and frustration are their daily companions. You want to help them, but you find you soon are spiraling down with them, and misery becomes your companion too. Matthew 12:36-37 reads, “I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Do not be deceived. “Bad company ruins good morals.” Romans 12:21 explains, “Do not let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good.” We have no control over anyone. We cannot make anyone happy, mad, sad, or glad. The only person we can control is our self. We can choose to be positive or negative, but only for our self. One way, to help get out of negativism, self-pity, and misery is to start a gratitude journal. Every time, a negative thought enters your mind, write down all the good things going one in your life. Every time you want to share your misery, say the Lord’s Prayer, over and over again. Every time you want to demean someone, turn on Christian music and sing along with the music, to drown out those negative thoughts. We control our actions. What will your actions be to glorify God or bring others down? It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen. Denise
