Psalms 37 1-4 says, “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Trust means a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Sometimes though, it is hard to trust in the LORD. Because trusting can mean waiting too. It is hard to wait for what you want to happen. It is hard to be patient and know that the LORD is God and He will see you through any situation. Thus, we doubt and lose faith— questioning and asking why! We question. We doubt. We are human. Our faith wavers at times and when it does, we cry out, “Help me, Lord!” Then little by little our faith emerges again. Because it is only by faith that we can get through the situation we are in. For faith is a substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) God is with you, trust, have faith, it will all work out. God Bless. Amen.
