Do you consider yourself to be an honest

Do you consider yourself to be an honest person?

December 20, 2023

Do you consider yourself to be an honest person? If I asked you, if you were a dishonest person, chances are you will deny it. For none of us will openly admit to being dishonest. To be dishonest is to behave in an untrustworthy or fraudulent way, being corrupt, misleading or cheating. When one is dishonest, you double-cross others. You are cunning, devious and treacherous. Think about it who would admit to being a dishonest person, if these are your characteristics. Luke 16:10 reads, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Proverbs 10:9 says, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” Throughout the Bible, we are told dishonesty is an abomination unto God. God hates evil, dishonesty and corruption. It will not go unpunished. Proverbs 19:5 states, “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.” Ultimately, those who are corrupt and dishonest will be judged and sentenced to eternity in Hell. If this is true, that is why it is so important for us to pray for one another, our leaders, our leaders of our churches, ministers, CEOs, owners of small and large businesses, our government officials, military leaders, and the highest office of the United States of America. For dishonesty and corruption, lead us into a path of evil, wickedness, and ungodliness. It is something to think about. Let us stand united and in prayer. God Bless. Amen.
