Faith means to have complete trust or confidence

Faith means to have complete trust or confidence in someone or something—it is a strong belief in God—based on a spiritual feeling rather than proof. Faith is something an individual experiences, yet your faith can grow stronger in a group setting like in church. Your faith can be elevated while listening to music such as the song “I can only imagine” and you feel as if you were touched by God. Your faith can change and regain strength while reading the Bible or talking to someone about God. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things on seen.” Sometimes our faith falls by the wayside, and you wonder where is God? Other times your faith is so strong you feel as if you can move a mountain. (Matthew 21:21) Through our faith we are brought closer to God. Today, maybe you need to focus more on God and less on secular things—maybe you need to let go and let God—maybe just maybe you need to be still and listen to that still small voice. (1 Kings 19:12b) And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. It is something to think about. God Bless.
