Is there any need to be honest and decent in this life of ours?

Is there any need to be honest and decent in this life of ours? Honesty is the quality of being honest. It implies a refusal to lie, steal, or deceive in any way. To be a decent person means to be marked by moral integrity, kindness, and goodwill; hard-working, being respected, and having good moral behavior. There has always been corruption in this world. Money can buy you anything you want, but it cannot buy you decency and honesty. Romans 13:13 reads, “Let us walk with decency, as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 says, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” We choose to be honest and decent. Let that sink in. We choose to be honest and decent. What will you choose? Being decent and honest promotes personal growth. It helps us take responsibility for our actions, our words, and yes, our thoughts. It empowers us to make positive choices. It creates confidence, strengthens our faith, empowers our willpower and represents us in the best way for others to see and witness our example. We become a light to this corrupt and evil world. Good overcomes evil! God Bless. Amen.
