Sometimes, we think the worst because we do

Sometimes, we think the worst because we do not want to be disappointed.

April 16, 2024

Sometimes, we think the worst because we do not want to be disappointed. We have tried hoping for the best and have been greatly disappointed. Thus, we figure out that if we do not hope for good things to happen to us, we will never be disappointed. But that is not true. Life happens—bad things happen to good people—we get disappointed—we get let down—that is life. Instead of looking for the worst, try hoping for the best—knowing that it may or may not work out the way you want, but it will work out. For when we hope—it sees us through another day. See, we need hope in our life—we still need to believe that life is good. Hope motivates us to keep going, even when things seem impossible or insurmountable. When we have hope, we believe that better days are ahead. Hebrews 11:1 says. “Faith is the substance of things HOPED for the evidence of things not seen.” It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
