Enter into my rest. This concept comes from Hebrews 4:3 says, “For we who have believed do enter that rest.” To rest in God means to find peace by ceasing from self-effort, and trusting God will work it out. This involves a mental and emotional rest from worry and anxiety, by being settled in God’s truth, and having confidence and trust in God’s promises. This spiritual rest is primarily entered into through faith. Exodus 33:14 says. “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Psalm 62:1 reads, “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.” When life is overwhelming and you know not what to do, go to God. He will give you rest. When you are frustrated and you are unable to calm yourself down, go to God. He will give you rest. When you are angry and the rage is overpowering, go to God. He will give you rest. When life is unfair and you do not see how to overcome the situation, go to God. He will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 tells us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give your rest.” God is there, go to Him. He will give you the rest you need. God Bless. Amen.
