Has anyone ever said to you, “You are not enough.” Not enough means that there is a lack of something necessary or desired, whether it is an effort or a quality. This statement indicates that there is an insufficiency, a need, an expectation, a physical appearance, or a desire toward the person who is receiving the words “You are not enough.” When we hear those words, when others tell us those words “I am not enough.” Our mind registers this, “I am not enough.” But the Lord tells us, “I am enough.” In Psalm 139:14 it reads, “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Sometimes we forget that we are wonderful made, created in God’s image, loved and accepted by the Lord. When someone says, “You are not enough,” read these scriptures. You are enough. Remember this. God Bless. Amen.
