I have cried myself to sleep at night

I have cried myself to sleep at night with the pain of life raging through my soul.

January 26, 2025

I have cried myself to sleep at night with the pain of life raging through my soul. I have gone to bed to sleep the day away, when life’s difficulties seem too much to bear. I have eaten till I feel like I will explode trying to mask my pain. Sometimes the challenges and hardships of life pass over you until you do not feel as if you can put one foot in front of the other, let alone breath. We all need to be comforted at times. Which is to have someone, or something alleviate our feelings of grief, pain, or stress. We all go through periods of heartache, hurt, and pain where all we want is someone to hold us and tell us it is going to be alright. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 tells us, “The Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” God comforts us and sustains us. He gives us strength, when we do not believe we have any strength to carry on. He is there, when others aren’t. God is the one sure thing in our life. So go to the Father, seek Him out, pray, believe, and trust. He will comfort your troubled spirit. And remember this too will pass. God Bless. Amen.
