We all have different perspectives on life.

August 30, 2025

We all have different perspectives on life. We believe that our view, our understanding of a situation, is usually the correct one. For It is our truth. We could also say what is true for you is not true for someone else. This occurs because you have different values, beliefs, and have experienced different things. Thus, you have a different perspective. We all look at life differently—because of past experiences and the way we were raised. Learning to be open to different possibilities is the key in life. A person once said to me, “So you have all the answers.” I said, “No, this is what I have experienced.” Wisdom comes from be open and willing to learn new things. Proverbs 1:7 reads, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Then Proverbs says, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.” Sometimes we just need to listen before we speak and think about what another person is saying before we inject what we think is right and true. It is something to consider. God Bless. Amen.
