What does it mean to wait, because we

What does it mean to wait, because we live in a world of instant gratification.

What does it mean to wait, because we live in a world of instant gratification. Where if you want something, you just go get it. To wait means to stay where one is or delay action until a particular time or until something happens. It means to reframe from being eagerly impatient to do something or for something to happen. From a Biblical standpoint it means to actively trust, hope, and patiently bide one’s time for God’s timing to be manifested. For as believers in God, we are bound to God and ready for His will to unfold. Scripture tells us, “…but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) “Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD.” (Psalm 27:14) “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word do I hope.” (Psalms 130:5) Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that we need to wait and trusts in the LORD, for it is not about our timing but God’s timing. Wait! God Bless. Amen.
