What is one good thing you did yesterday?
April 9, 2025

What is one good thing you did yesterday? Did you help a person in need? Did you visit someone who was sick, or someone in the hospital, or a person in prison? Did you open a door for a stranger, pay someone’s toll, or buy someone coffee who is behind you in the drive through. Or did you give your waiter an extra tip? What is one good thing you did yesterday? Now think about one bad thing you did yesterday. Did you talk trash about someone, or take your frustrations out on someone, or cut someone off while you were driving. Did you flip someone off, or think ill-will of someone? Did you make fun of someone, or bully your neighbor, or did you kick your dog? What is one bad thing you did yesterday? Today, try to be a better person than you were yesterday. Put others before your needs. Put God first, family and friends second, and yourself third. Philippians 2:3-4 reads, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Do not look to your own interests, but each of you to the interests of others.” It is something to try! You just might have a better day than you did yesterday! God Bless. Amen.
